This installer isn't code-signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen will warn you the publisher is unknown. Choose “More info”, then “Run anyway”. Signed builds are on the way. Updates are signature-verified either way.

Linux

AppImage and .deb builds for x86_64, with the gateway bundled. Needs a desktop environment with a system tray.

The packages aren't signed yet, so your package manager or desktop may ask you to confirm an unverified publisher on first launch.

By downloading the Permaura app you agree to our Terms of Service. The gateway itself is open source under the Apache License 2.0 and that licence governs it.

Install from the terminal

Runs the gateway headless, resolving the right binary for your machine. Pass a pairing code to link it to your account in one step. This works on macOS, Linux and Windows alike, and leaves permaura on your PATH.

npm i -g permaura

No Node on the machine, or you want it to come back after a reboot? The install script fetches the same binary directly and can register a service. macOS and Linux.

For a one-off, or a box you will not keep, npx -y permaura start runs the same gateway with nothing installed.
